FAQs
With the numerous challenges that life throws at us, we often find ourselves needing an outlet to express our thoughts, feelings and emotions. However, through fear of judgement and repercussions it can be difficult to find that person in our everyday lives. This is where counselling steps in...to provide you with a safe space and platform to unload, explore and reflect in the company of compassion and understanding. More than this, counselling can provide you with a greater understanding of your own thought processes, in addition to the tools and techniques to better manage your wellbeing outside of scheduled sessions.
I currently offer remote/online counselling sessions via video or telephone to prospective clients of all backgrounds. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at £40, with some concessions available for student counsellors or clients on a low income.
These sessions provide flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to bring your most pressing concerns into the therapeutic space. While every session is unique, common elements you can expect include goal setting, scheduling of practical activities, exploration through open-ended questioning, reflection, gentle thought challenging, and the use of therapeutic tools and techniques.
If you are interested in counselling with me, I offer a 15-20 minute introductory phone session to answer any questions you might have and discuss your suitability for counselling. For further information please see the bottom of this profile.
